About

Software judged by whether it still works in two years.

Varnetic builds custom software, SaaS products, and mobile apps for companies that need engineering they can depend on — not just at launch, but for as long as the software is in use.

How we work

An extension of your team, not a vendor who disappears

Every engagement starts the same way: understanding what the software actually needs to do, for whom, and for how long — before any architecture decisions get made. That question is what decides whether a project needs a fixed-scope build, an embedded engineer inside your team, or a product built and owned from scratch.

We work in the open. That means working software early instead of a black-box sprint, regular check-ins instead of a status report nobody reads, and a direct line to the engineer building your system — not an account manager relaying questions to someone else.

Launch isn't the finish line. We stay on for the bugs that only show up under real usage, the feature that gets requested in month three, and the scaling problem that only exists once the product actually has users.

What we value

Three things that don't change per project

Depth over breadth

We'd rather do three things well — custom software, SaaS products, mobile apps — than ten things adequately. Every engagement gets senior attention, not a junior team learning on the job.

Say the hard thing early

Scope creep and timeline risk get flagged the week they appear, not the week before launch, when it's too late to do anything but blow the deadline.

Software outlives the contract

We write code and documentation for the engineer who inherits this system in two years — including us, since we're usually still the ones maintaining it.
